Stay tuned to this page. I'll be bringing you the news and info from my Aussie adventures. My home for the summer will be Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The main camp I'll be staying at is just east of the East Alligator River. I'm expecting to get some great photos, video and maybe even a couple snakebites.....really hoping for no snakebites though.
Well it's finally time for me to takeoff. I'll be flying out at 4:45pm, Sunday, May 30th. I haven't really had a lot of time to think about what this summer will bring but I have thought about what I will miss. With a job like mine, it's tough to see everyone as much as I'd like. I understand that everyone finds it hard to come to Saskatoon to see me. For 7 months of the year, you never know if I'll be here! That has left me trying to hop around the provinces (Sask and Alberta). This summer offered two great chances to see a lot of people I wish I could see more. A 'Luther' wedding and a high school reunion (10 years! wow am I old).
To Mike and Chalcey, enjoy your big day. Hope to see you kids soon.
To the class of 2000, make sure you have fun at the Gateway Festival. I have yet to have a bad time at that party in the park and I'm betting the reunion will be a good one.
This blog will replace mass e-mails. If you want a more personal response you'll have to send me something first. Except Ashton, she gets the personal stuff. I'd like to still be married when I get back.
